Data Deletion
Delete your data
You can request deletion of your MoneyMap account and any data we store on our servers at any time. Because MoneyMap is offline-first, most of your financial data lives only on your device — uninstalling the app removes it. Server-side data (account record, encrypted backups, sync metadata, Plaid tokens) is deleted on request.
What gets deleted
- Your user account and profile
- Encrypted backups stored on our servers
- Sync metadata tied to your devices
- Plaid access tokens and linked-institution records
Timeline
Requests are processed within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete. Some records (e.g. billing or legal compliance data) may be retained where required by law.
