Information TaskWise accesses

When you choose to sign in with Google, TaskWise requests permission to view and manage your Google Tasks. This includes your task lists and task details such as titles, notes, due dates, completion status, and ordering.

Google provides OAuth access and refresh tokens so the app can stay signed in and synchronize your tasks. TaskWise does not request or receive your Google password.

How we use Google user data

TaskWise uses Google user data only to display your Google Tasks, let you create or change them, and synchronize those changes with Google. CodeNest does not use Google user data for advertising, profiling, or training AI models.

Storage and security

Your task data is cached locally on your device using the platform's own local storage. Google OAuth credentials are stored in the operating system's secure credential store: the Keychain on Apple devices, the Android Keystore on Android. Communication with Google uses encrypted HTTPS connections.

CodeNest does not operate a separate server that stores your Google Tasks or OAuth credentials.

Sharing, transfer, and disclosure

TaskWise sends information to Google only as needed to provide Google Tasks synchronization. CodeNest does not sell, rent, or share your Google user data for advertising and does not transfer it to third parties except when required by law. The app does not include advertising, third-party analytics, or cross-app tracking.

Retention and deletion

Your tasks remain governed by your Google account and Google's retention controls. Signing out removes the stored Google credentials from your device. You may revoke TaskWise's access at any time from your Google Account permissions. Removing the app and its local data removes the locally cached copy, subject to your device's backup and deletion behavior.

Google API Services User Data Policy

TaskWise's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Information you send us

If you contact CodeNest for support, we receive the contact information and message you choose to provide. We use it to respond and retain it only as long as reasonably necessary for support, security, and legal purposes.

Children

TaskWise is not directed to children under 13, and CodeNest does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as TaskWise changes or legal requirements evolve. The date above shows when it was last revised.
