Your reading stays on your phone

Subscriptions, downloaded articles, stars, and reading history live in a database on your device. CodeNest never receives any of it, and deleting the app deletes the lot.

Summaries that never leave the device

Gather downloads a small language model on demand and runs it locally. Summaries come in four voices, and a clickbait headline can be rewritten in plain English. No article text is sent anywhere, and the whole feature switches off in one place.

A sepia reader view with a serif headline, adjustable type, read-aloud, offline articles, and light and dark themes that are warm rather than grey.
